Tampa covers an area of 170.6 sq. miles (441.9 sq. Km) and is estimated to have a population of 2.7 million people being the third largest metropolitan area in Florida, behind Miami and Atlanta. It serves as the county seat for Hillsborough County.

Old Hyde Park Village

Old Hyde Park VillageSouth of downtown, in one of Tampa’s oldest neighborhoods, is perhaps the city’s most upscale shopping destination. Its village-like environment offers outdoor pathways and seating and is a fantastic place to people-watch or while away the afternoon.

Some of its prominent tenants are Restoration Hardware, Anthropologie, Illuminations, Brooks Brothers, Tommy Bahama Fashions and a Pottery Barn Design Studio. You’ll also find restaurants, a movie theater and a Jacobson’s department store in the vicinity.
